DIY Photo-Guestbook

I will rave forever about our photographer, Dana Cubbage. She not only took the most brilliant pictures I could have dreamed of for our wedding, but she was also easy to be around, made you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and got our pictures to us within a week after our wedding!

Although photography was something we were willing to splurge on, we still found a way to save a little when booking. A photo book to be used as a guestbook was included in our package for $500. Instead of adding the $500 to our tab, we saved $420, and made it ourselves.

We used the pictures from our engagement sessions and put together our own book using Snapfish {other websites you can create a photo book are picaboo, shutterfly and flickr}
The websites listed about are constantly having sales and promotions for creating a photobooks, so no reason to ever pay full price for one.
I absolutely love that we can look through this photo book and not only see the engagement photos we love, but also read notes from people at our wedding.
Yes, we own Disney Bride & Groom pens. It's ok if you're a little jealous.
Money Saved: $420, our lay flat photobook cost $80. That is not the typical price for photobooks, but we added lots of extra pages and the lay flat feature tends to add a little to the total.
Time: A few hours to sort through which pictures we wanted to choose and arrange them nicely.

Thanks for visiting!
